OUR STORY
Kari and Justin first crossed paths in 2016 at the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville. At the time, Kari was performing in In The Heights, and Justin was getting ready for his role in Women in Jeopardy. Though they followed each other on social media and knew of each other, they had never actually met in person. Their first real interaction came months later, when they found themselves standing in the same lobby at the theatre, locking eyes but not saying a word. It was a brief moment that passed without anything coming of it just quite yet.
It wasn’t until about a year and a half later that things really started to change. At a party, a mutual friend, Terrance Smith, told Kari how Justin had always talked about how beautiful he thought she was and went on to praise Justin as an incredible guy. The very next day, Terrance called Justin and said, “Dude, there’s this girl you have to meet.” At the time, Justin was in Ithaca, NY, working on a play, but despite the distance, Kari and Justin began talking every day.
By the time Justin returned home after his six-week contract, they had already built a strong connection. They went on their first date, and from that moment on, everything just fell into place. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by November 30th, so we can finalize our guest count and details with our venue.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding is a formal event, and we kindly ask all guests to wear ALL BLACK attire. Think elegant, formal, and timeless—we can’t wait to see everyone looking stunning in black!
What is considered formal attire?
Formal attire means dressing up in your most elegant evening wear. For our wedding, this looks like:
Men: A black suit with a tie or bow tie. Dress shoes required.
Women: A floor-length gown, a formal cocktail dress, or an elegant pantsuit. Heels or dressy flats recommended.
Everyone: We kindly ask that all outfits be entirely black.
Are children invited?
We love your little ones! However, our celebration will be an adult-only event (with the exception of certain family & invited children). We appreciate your understanding.
Can I bring a guest?
We have reserved seating and meals for the names listed on your invitation only. If you are unsure, please check your RSVP card or reach out to us directly.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
Where should I stay if I want to attend all of the week's festivities?
Stay with us at the Limelight Inn! If you’d like to be right on the premises for the full celebration, please call the Limelight Inn directly to reserve your room: (706) 452-1399. Reservations must be made by November 30th, and rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. While staying at the inn isn’t required, we’d love for as many guests as possible to join us there so we can enjoy extra time together throughout the weekend.
What are my other lodging options?
If the Limelight Inn is full, or you prefer to stay elsewhere, there are many wonderful accommodations nearby. We recommend checking local Airbnb listings or hotels in the Dahlonega area for convenient options close to the venue.
What is the weather like this time of year?
In Dahlonega, the weather in January is typically chilly. Please plan accordingly, as parts of the celebration will be outdoors.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, complimentary parking will be available at Juliette's Chapel.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
There is a section to let us know of any dietary needs on your RSVP. Please note your preferences there and we will do our best to accomodate!
What is the group excursion?
We are planning something really fun we can do as a group and will update here as soon as we have more details! It is of course optional, but we want to maximize getting quality time with the people we love the most. We hope that you will join us, and make a mini vacation out of the trip.
